Having Smart Transaction Systems as our default gift card provider allows merchants to process cards directly through their POS system, minimizing employee training and accelerating the purchasing process. STS is used for sales transactions, credit/activation transactions and balance inquiry transactions. The STS settings are established in the CAS and assigned to the POS, where they can also be modified.
Keep track of your top-selling employees with the Employee Productivity option. This option allows the user to view employee productivity by venue, store, or zone in one easily navigable screen. You may either choose to view reports by a specific employee, all employees, or by a particular employee role. This allows you to readily access the hours and minutes of multiple employees simultaneously. In addition to the hours and minutes of any employee, the number of transactions, number of returns, and number of items sold is viewed through this option, as well as adjusted sales amount, labor costs, and the gross margin of all activity.
Make an order for your venue or warehouse anywhere in the world you can find internet connection! Through the CAS, user supplies all the information needed for a purchase order, then enters or looks up all of the item SKUs he wishes to purchase, specifies the quantity, and the other item details ( such as the item total, discount, tax, freight, and net PO amount) will automatically be generated. The purchase order will be sent to the merchant. The form in which the user needs to create an order is located and automatically emailed right on the CAS, no mailing necessary!
Users can organize products by any size they wish using the size brick function. This function enables the user to group items together when receiving/sending a shipment. The user creates a new size brick with which to organize the inventory and can check boxes from a list of already available sizes, or create a new size. For example, a user can choose a s/m/l size brick, or he can choose an xs/s/m/l/xl size brick for an order of shirts.
Even in the absence of a register, sales can be made via the CAS, which is great for a short cash and carry event. Simply select a venue, store and register, and then enter the UPC and the quantity of an item to initiate a manual sale. To commit the manual sale, the user describes which pay mode was used for different amounts of the total sale.
