The InvenTrak Merchandise Transfer import has now been modified so that you can combine multiple store transfer data into one import file. Individual transaction numbers will be generated for each store for tracking purposes. Items can also be received at any of the POS units at the receiving store level. The process for originating transfers at the store POS level remain unchanged. |

Do not forget to add email addresses to user profiles! This way, if a user forgets their password they can easily request a new one from the CAS to be emailed to the address on file. Without this the System Administrator will have to reset the password. Email alerts that are scheduled to automatically be generated will only do so if there is an email in the user's profile. |

Do not let hardware malfunctions stop your sales. In the event of a hardware malfunction, InvenTrak can be loaded onto a new POS system and you can reinstall the entire history of the previous installation, so that you can get your sales back on track and get back to business. |

This feature gives the user a way to assign sales of products to a virtual store that is not associated to the daily sales of their regular stores. You can use this to keep certain sales separate from normal transactions. Virtual Stores essentially have no product- All items are pulled from the warehouse or store inventory and sold directly. Virtual Stores conveniently perform transfers or consolidation without requiring a commitment. These sales may be processed either through manual sales or POS, and will be assigned to a default warehouse or store out of which the inventory will be pulled. |

Even in the absence of a register, sales can be made via the CAS, which is great for a short cash and carry event. Simply select a venue, store and register, and then enter the UPC and the quantity of an item to initiate a manual sale. To commit the manual sale, the user describes which pay mode was used for different amounts of the total sale. |
