Setting sales goals is an important practice for any business. In order to do this, certain information is needed. That's where the Sales Projection Analysis Report comes in. This useful feature allows merchants to keep an eye on how their Projected and Actual Sales compare by generating reports of Projected Sales vs. Actual Sales. The reports compare the actual sales data that is already sent to CAS for consolidation with Projected Sales data collected using either a Sales Projection Interface or a Sales Projection File Import, both of which upload projected sales information into the CAS database. Using this information a “Projected Sales vs. Actual Sales” report is generated and easily found in the “Sales” sub-menu under the “Reports” option. The projected sales report compares the projected sales, customers, and staff hours with the actual ones and gives the percentage or dollar variance between projected and actual. With this report, user can review sales and set realistic goals for his company.
